THE USUAL TABLE

THE STRONGER, by August Strindberg

THE MAN WITH A FLOWER IN HIS MOUTH, by Luigi Pirandello.

AFTERS, by Alan Drury.

London, 1st March 2002.

Two European classics; Strindberg’s acid portrait of female rivalry and Pirandello’s poignant study of a man facing the ultimate; followed by a specially commissioned companion piece by Alan Drury, who has also written the English versions of the other two.  High drama to low comedy, and only the waiters know all.
